Anna von Österreich, spanische Prinzessin und spätere Gemahlin Ludwig XIII. von Frankreich, erhob die heiße Schokolade im 17. Jahrhundert zum Rang eines Getränkes bei Hof und machte den süßen Trunk gesellschaftsfähig. Hoftauglich ist ohne Zweifel auch die delikate Trinkschokolade von Dallmayr: Aufgelöst in heißem Wasser genießt man die feinen Milchschokoladenflocken pur oder variiert sie mit einem Schuss Cognac, Kaffee oder Rum.
