RLM 73 is the second green in the Luftwaffe's maritime splinter scheme — darker than its partner RLM 72, and factory-standard on seaplanes, flying boats and coastal patrol aircraft. Torpedo-bomber variants of the He 111 and Ju 88 wore it too, so it's not purely a flying-boat colour.
