Sepia is the oil no modeller should be without. Thinned with a matt medium it mimics dry oil and diesel stains convincingly, and used neat straight from the tube it's superb for running panel lines and picking out fine detail on small parts. Warm rather than cold, it's the shade to reach for when a wash needs some character instead of flat black.
