The Hestra Army Leather Patrol Gauntlet is a pair of durable ski mittens in quality materials. The back of the hand is made of a wind- and water-repellent polyester shell that is still highly breathable. The palm is made of impregnated goatskin. The waistband is made of bemberg/polyester, which can be removed and washed. It is insulated with G-loft, which is a very thin polyester fiber that warms well even when wet. The mittens have an extra long shaft and Velcro closure around the wrist. One of the mittens is equipped with a carabiner so the mittens can be clipped together when not in use. The mittens can last for years if the leather is well maintained.
